Hello there. I saw some earlier comments about the Spinning bikes using LOOK SPD pedals. Can i check if i have shimano cleats does it mean i can click into the pedals also?? Secondly, if i am calling some friend along who do not have cleats, can they pedal on the bikes using normal shoes??
Thanks for your clarification.
Hi Bryan,
The cleat attachment on the Spinners® are SPD only and baskets. These are usually used on mountain bikes. Road bike cleats( LOOK or Shimano) are not compatible.
If you are wearing normal shoes that is fine as there are still baskets for all the bikes.
It is best to wear hard soled running shoes to avoid your feet absorbing the pedal and causing discomfort.
Thanks!
